Stewards of the Sea – Returning Power to Fishers

Professor Paul Hart
Professor Emeritus of Fish Biology and Fisheries.
University of Leicester.

This year’s Buckland Lecture examines the factors that have distanced fishers from the fisheries management process. Professor Hart will discuss ways in which fishers are being brought back into the process of managing their fish stocks sustainably and of thus contributing to marine conservation.
