Mr Hutton's Spooky Tour

Mr Hutton, the Ghost of Smith and Hutton Boatyard, will take you on a tour and tell you all the spooky secrets of years gone by and share stories of what goes on when the museum doors close to the public.

You will meet Mr Hutton in the Museum Courtyard at 2pm. There are 15 spaces on the tour and they will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The tour is included in the accompanying adult’s museum entry fee.

Sunday 27th October, 2pm-4pm

Ages 7-12 – children must be accompanied by an adult.

Boats, Fish and Folk: 50 years of Scottish fishing

To celebrate the museum’s 50th anniversary, we focus on the last 50 years of the fishing industry charting the changes to the fleets, the harbours, the livelihoods and the lives of those who work to put fish on our tables.

With this exhibition we travel through time to discover the history that lies hidden all around us and in the earth beneath our feet.
