St Andrews Day Crafts

29 November 2019 1:11 - 29 November 2019

St Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland and the namesake of St Andrews, but did you also know he is the patron saint of fisherman?

Join us in the Museum the day before St Andrews day for some free drop-in crafts from 1pm – 4pm. You can make banners, flags, or anything else you might need to join in the celebrations. You can then take them along to the St Andrews Day celebration in St Andrews, organised by BID St Andrews.

All details of the St Andrews day celebrations will be found @BIDStAndrews on Facebook in due course.

Free, drop-in activity for families.

Friday 29th November, 1pm – 4pm

Boats, Fish and Folk: 50 years of Scottish fishing

To celebrate the museum’s 50th anniversary, we focus on the last 50 years of the fishing industry charting the changes to the fleets, the harbours, the livelihoods and the lives of those who work to put fish on our tables.
