Location: Sun Tavern | Time: 10 - 11am and 12 - 1pm
One of the many jobs of a geologist is to understand the make up of the rock layers below the Earth’s surface. In this interactive workshop, children will reimagine core sampling techniques to explore the layers in cupcakes (and eat them afterwards!).
Free, but spaces are limited - to view allergy information and book a place, click here: https://scottish-fisheries-museum.eventbrite.co.uk/
This workshop is suitable for children aged 6-10 years, and an ideal parent-child activity.
Parents and guardians must accompany children for the duration of the workshop.
This workshop is part of the engagement programme for the When It Rains, We Harvest/Cuando Llueve, Cosechamos exhibition, organised by students from the University of St Andrews. On display in the Scottish Fisheries Museum until the 19th of June.
