Big Skies, Crashing Waves and Picturesque Harbour Villages in the East Neuk

Paintings in watercolour, oils and acrylic by Jim Armstrong

Jim tells us…

“I picked up a paintbrush and canvas several years ago as hobby, when I retired my wife was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and I have painted ever since. I live in Edinburgh but I am so fortunate to have a caravan in Cellardyke, so spend most of my summer in The East Neuk. A beautiful part of Scotland with amazing scenery. Big skies, crashing waves and picturesque harbour villages. I use water colour, oils and acrylics.

“I make no financial gain from my hobby other than pleasure and relaxation. Any additional proceeds always are donated to charity. Fife First Responders, Cellardyke Tidal Pool, Cancer Research, Local Church Fairs. August 2023 in the Scottish Fisheries Museum is my first solo exhibition. Hope you enjoy my art as much as I do.”
