As a registered charity we fully appreciate all donations large or small. Donations help us to conserve our collections for future generations, improve and develop our galleries, curate exhibitions and events and provide educational programmes and workshops for adults and children.
If you are a UK taxpayer you can increase your donation to us, without any further cost to yourself. By filling in a Gift Aid declaration, you allow us to reclaim an additional 25p for each £ you donate, from the Inland Revenue. You must be a UK taxpayer and have, or will, pay an amount of UK income tax for the current tax year at least equal to the amount that charities you give to will reclaim.
You can donate in person at the Museum - donation envelopes are available, or by post. If you wish to Gift Aid your donation please download and print the Gift Aid Declaration form and send in with your donation to:

You may not have considered including a gift to a museum in your will, but the Scottish Fisheries Museum is a charity and, from the start, has relied upon the generosity of donors to safeguard the heritage of one of Scotland’s major industries. Legacies, whatever the amount, can make a real difference to what we can do and your support will help ensure that future generations continue to enjoy the Scottish Fisheries Museum. For more information on how to leave a legacy, please see the guidance on our Charity Choice webpage.
